I thank God we are free to openly worship Him in this country. And not just in our church buildings, but with praise in the parks! And I see so many people reading and studying their Bibles in public places such as S*arb**ks, etc. We know dark days are ahead, but all the more reason to get the word out now!

That is an awesome analogy. I do see the deterioration of the Christian foundations in this country - from the mainstream of society, from government, from the general philosophy of the people. Generally, I don't think it will affect me as greatly as my imagination might lead me to believe. However, I am concerned for my children, grandchildren and future generations. (My oldest is only 10.) By their time, things will certainly be more grave. What I do now by developing eyes that focus on the Lord and not on the Earth will need to overflow into generations I will not be able to touch.

I like that glass analogy I have never heard that before, but it's awesome. My attitude to the devil these days has been :Bring It ON" I will have to check the library for that book

I think we are getting closer to the day when we will no longer have a choice in how and where we worship. The way God has disappeared from the schools and public buildings is scary to me. I refuse to hide the fact that I am a Christian as it seems I am being asked to do. All of those people who don't want their rights violated by me openly saying I am a Christian should just stay away!

Thanks for the book recommendation. I'll look for it.

BTW I used to have a problem of breaking phones in anger. Everyone in the office finally decided I couldn't have a phone on my desk anymore. (It was getting expensive). It seems that fixed everything. There was no more anger when I didn't have to answer the phone anymore. LOL
