Addicted to Knitting

FO Urchin

Posted on: January 29, 2008

This is my first short row project. Once I quit being stupid about the instructions it went really well. I would like to make another one of these with lumpier yarn. This is moda dea cache’ that I bought at a dollar store. One of those purchases that I wondered about but hey it was only a dollar a skein.  The pattern is of course Urchin by Ysolda Teague

This was knit last week during my dummy phase when I could not follow directions for anything! I struggled with debit and credits in Accounting till I was crazy. I knew when I figured that out I could knit this hat.

You are so right! I’ve told accounting students that if they can learn debits and credits they can do anything! I love the hat–style, color and fit! It will be beautiful in a knubby yarn, but I love knitting with Cache! I’ve made several skinny scarves with it and they turned out cute too.
